The second season of Love Island USA premiered on CBS on August 24, 2020. It ran for 40 days with the finale airing on September 30, 2020.

The winners were 24-year old Caleb Corprew and 27-year old Justine Ndiba.

Coupling

On Day 1, after all of the girls entered, the boys were asked to choose a girl to pair up with. Carrington was paired with Kaitlynn, Tre with Cely, Connor and Mackenzie paired up, James and Moira coupled up, and Jeremiah paired up with Justine. Johnny then entered the villa and was told that he would be stealing a girl the following day.

Notes

• ^Note 1: Johnny arrived after the coupling on Day 1, but was told he would be able to steal a girl for herself on Day 2. He chose Cely, thus leaving Tre single.
• ^Note 2: America voted for the most compatible couples, with the three couples with the most votes being safe. The safe couples also chose to save Connor and Mackenzie, thus leaving Kierstan and Carrington, and Lauren and Tre at risk of being dumped. The safe islanders then had to choose one boy and one girl to dump from the island. The boys chose Lauren and the girls chose Tre.
• ^Note 3: On Day 19, the original Islanders were told they either had to stick with their current partner, or twist and choose a new Islander to couple up with. As Connor and Kierstan chose to not recouple but their partner did, they were both left single. The new islanders who were not picked were then dumped from the island.

Week 1	On Day 1, the Islanders coupled up for the first time. After all of the girls entered, the boys were asked to choose a girl to pair up with. Carrington coupled up with Kaitlynn, Tre with Cely, Connor and Mackenzie paired up, James and Moira coupled up, and Jeremiah paired up with Justine. On Day 2, Johnny was allowed to steal a girl from a couple. He chose Cely, leaving Tre single. On Day 5, the islanders re-coupled with it being boys choice. Connor and Mackenzie, James and Moira, and Johnny and Cely remained together. Carrington chose new girl Kierstan, Jeremiah chose Rachel and Tre chose to couple up with Justine. As Kaitlynn remained single, she was dumped from the island.
Week 2	On Day 9, the islanders re-coupled. This time it was the girls who had to pick a boy to couple up with. Johnny and Cely, Tre and Justine, Connor and Mackenzie, and Carrington and Kierstan remained together. Moira chose to couple up with new boy Calvin, whilst Rachel chose new boy Caleb. As Jeremiah and James remained single, they were dumped from the island. On Day 12, the islanders re-coupled again. The boys chose this time. Calvin and Moira, Johnny and Cely, Connor and Mackenzie remained together. Caleb chose to couple up with Justine, and Tre chose Lauren. As Rachel remained single, she was dumped from the island.
Week 3	On Day 19, the original Islanders were told that they would be re-coupling. They were only given the option to remain in their current couple or to choose one of the new Islanders. However, as the boys and the girls were living in separate villas, they were not aware of what the other one chose. If one decided to re-couple and the other did not, then they would be single but still remain on the island. If both re-coupled then they would both remain in the villa with their new partner, and any remaining single new islanders would be dumped. Justine and Caleb, Johnny and Cely remained together. Moira chose Aaron, Calvin chose Sher, Carrington chose Laurel, and Mackenzie chose Jalen. As Connor and Kierstan's original partners failed to re-couple with them, they were now single.
Week 4	On Day 24, the islanders re-coupled with it being boys choice. Justine and Caleb, Johnny and Cely and Carrington and Laurel remained together. Aaron chose to couple up with Mackenzie, Calvin chose Kierstan, Connor chose Moira, and Jalen chose Sher.
Week 5	On Day 28, the islanders re-coupled again. This time it was girls choice. Justine and Caleb, Johnny and Cely and Carrington and Laurel remained together. Kierstan chose to couple up with new boy Bennett, whilst Moira chose Calvin. As Bennie and Connor remained single, they were dumped from the island.
Week 6	On Day 33, the islanders re-coupled for the final time with the boys choosing. Justine and Caleb, Johnny and Cely, Moira and Calvin, and Carrington and Laurel all remained together whilst Bennett chose to couple up with new girl Lakeyn. As Julia and Kierstan remained single, they were dumped from the island.

Week 1	On Day 3, the girls and the boys competed against each other in "Excess Baggage", in which a piece of luggage comes down and inside there's a secret about another islander. To make their guess about who the secret was about, they had to kiss that islander. The girls were the winners of the challenge.
Week 2	On Day 3, the girls took part in "All Washed Up", in which they had to complete a car-wash themed obstacle course in the sexiest manner possible and finish by kissing a boy of their choice. The boys decided Lauren was the sexiest and therefore the winner.
Week 3	On Day 14, the islanders competed in the "Smooch, Marry, Pie" challenge where each islander had to snog, marry and pie an islander of the opposite gender. On Day 18, the Main Villa and Casa Amor competed in "Raunchy Races" where they had to complete a certain task quicker than the other villa. The Main Villa won the challenge and won party for that evening.
Week 5

Week 1	On Day 2, new girls Rachel and Kierstan were asked to pick one boy each to take on a date with in the Secret Jacuzzi. Rachel chose Jeremiah, whilst Kierstan chose Carrington.
Week 2	On Day 8, Johnny and Cely had a night in the hideaway On Day 10, the public chose Connor to go on a date with new girl Lauren. She also chose to take Carrington and Johnny on dates. On Day 13, Carrington and Kierstan left the villa to go on their first date.
Week 3	On Day 14, Connor and Mackenzie had a night in the hideaway On Day 17, Carrington went on dates with new girls Laurel and Mercades.
Week 5	On Day 25, new boys Bennett, Bennie and Noah were asked to pick one girl to take on a date. They chose Kierstan, Cely and Moira respectively.

Other Information

• On August, 1, 2019 it was announced that CBS had renewed the US version for a second season. It was initially scheduled to premiere on May 21, 2020, however, due to the COVID-19 pandemic it was subsequently placed on hold.
• On July 22, 2020, Vulture reported that pre-production had started. Filming for the second season would take place at The Cromwell in Las Vegas instead of an international destination due to international travel restrictions related to COVID-19. Everyone involved with the show was required to undergo quarantine prior to the beginning of production.
