Sammy Root was an Islander on Season 10 of the revived series of Love Island. Sammy entered the villa on Day 4 and was crowned the winner alongside Jess Harding on Day 58.
On Day 4, Sammy entered the villa and chose to take Ella, Jess and Molly on dates in the hideaway.
On Day 5, Jess chose to couple up with Sammy.

On Day 8, new girls Charlotte and Leah both picked Sammy for a date.
On Day 9, Sammy chose to re-couple with Jess.
On Day 12, Sammy was in the bottom three boys after receiving the fewest public votes. The girls chose to save him.

On Day 14, Sammy chose to re-couple with Jess.
On Day 16, Jess and Sammy were banned from re-coupling with each other at the next recoupling after their fellow Islanders voted them as one of the least compatible couples. That same day, new girl Mal chose to take Sammy on a date.
On Day 18, Mal chose to couple up with Sammy.

On Day 23, Sammy was left single after Mal was dumped from the island.
On Day 25, Sammy chose to take Jess on a date.

On Day 31, Sammy chose to couple up with Casa girl Amber.
Week 6
On Day 37, Sammy chose to couple up with Jess.
On Day 39, Sammy was left single after new boy Josh chose to couple up with Jess.

On Day 42, Jess chose to couple up with Sammy.
Week 8
On Day 54, Jess and Sammy left the villa to go on their final date.

On Day 58, Jess and Sammy were crowned the winners of the season.
